Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi (Ditjen Dikti) dari waktu ke waktu senantiasa  berusaha untuk meningkatkan berbagai pelayanan sesuai dengan tugas pokok dan fungsi. Salah satu layanan tersebut adalah menyediakan semua informasi yang ada di lingkungan Dikti dan diharapkan bisa menyentuh semua kalangan. Berbagai media telah digunakan untuk menyampaikan informasi yang ada di Dikti telah kami lakukan, diantaranya adalah melalui laman ini, melalui jejaring sosial Facebook, Twitter, Majalah dan juga telah kami fasilitasi pula Laman untuk pengguna smartphone atau handphone. Seiring dengan itu, pada laman dikti.kemdikbud.go.id ini, kami menyediakan fasilitas bagi masyarakat untuk ikut berkontribusi menulis artikel tentang pendidikan, pendidikan tinggi khususnya. Melalui tulisan ini, kami mengundang segenap masyarakat untuk menjadi kontributor pada laman ini. Adapun beberapa aturan untuk menjadi penulis kontributor ini adalah sebagai berikut: Artikel adalah tulisan sendiri, bukan menyadur dari tempat lain; Apabila ada tulisan yang diambil dari sumber lain, wajib mencantumkan sumbernya; Penulis wajib menuliskan Nama, Alamat, Asal Instansi, E-mail, dan nomor telpon yang bisa dihubungi; Dikti berhak menyunting, dan melakukan perubahan, dengan tanpa menghilangkan makna dari tulisan; dan Dikti juga berhak untuk tidak menayangkan tulisan yang sekiranya dianggap tidak layak tayang oleh tim redaksi Dikti; Dikti tidak memberikan honor apapun kepada kontributor; Isi dari artikel sepenuhnya adalah tanggung jawab penulis; Tulisan dikirim ke [email protected] Tulisan yang masuk ke redaksi, akan dimuat paling lambat 5 (lima) hari setelah artikel diterima redaksi, apabila tidak dimuat dalam 5 hari, berarti artikel tersebut dinilai oleh Dikti tidak layak dimuat di laman; Semoga dengan bertambahnya layanan ini, ide, opini, sumbang saran dari pembaca laman Dikti dapat berperan dan ikut serta mengembangkan pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia. The Nippon Foundation Fellowships for Asian Public Intellectuals (API) Fellowships and Research Center for Regional Resources-Indonesian Institute of Sciences. The API Fellowships are open to academics, mass media professionals, artists, NGO leaders, and others with moral authority – who are working to shape public opinion and influence policy in their societies. The Fellowships will give these intellectual leaders the opportunity to learn what their counterparts are doing in different cultural and ethnic contexts, generate theoritical ideas to cope with social and economic change, and build the intellectual network of the future. The themes for the fellowships year 2013 – 2014 are: 1. Changing Identities and their Social, Historical, and Cultural Contexts. 2. Reflection on the Human Condition and the Search for Social Justice. 3. Globalization: Structures, Processes and Altenatives. Beasiswa PRESTASI IIEF USAID, Master Scholarships for Indonesian Citizen to USA A key component of the U.S. government’s development program in Indonesia has always been training, and the support for both short and long-term exchange opportunities continues to be powerful tool in helping individuals, organizations, and institutions acquire the knowledge, skills, and capacity to support Indonesia’s on-going development. Program to Extend Scholarships and Training to Achieve Sustainable Impacts (PRESTASI) provides opportunities for Indonesians to earn Master degrees in selected fields primarily from a university in the US. PRESTASI is open to all Indonesians who meet the requirements. Target of Participant for PRESTASI Program are as follow: Emerging Leaders NGO Public and private sector institutions Female participation Under-represented and disadvantaged areas   The selection process is highly competitive. Candidates must show: Leadership abilities Excellence in a technical field Academic interests that are relevant to the achievement of USAID/Indonesia and GOI development goals Academic or other necessary qualifications for the desired training.   The goal of PRESTASI is to improve the performance and leadership skills of Indonesian professionals, which, in turn will help to promote development in Indonesia. IELSP Scholarship to US

“Frequently Asked Questions”     1.     What is IELSP?   Indonesia English Language Study Program is a scholarship program which offers opportunity to join an English course in American Universities for 8 (eight) weeks.   The program is intended for increasing English skill of the participants, especially in English for Specific Purposes. Besides, the participants would have chance to learn American culture and society directly since the participants would attend immersion program in international class where they would join other participants from various nations and countries. Thorugh the program, the participants would not only learn English, but also attend various cultural programs which would provide invaluable experience.     2.     Who are eligible for the program?    IELSP is available for those who are 19 – 24 years old and registered active as undergraduate student (at least in the third year or in the fifth semester and above) from any departments at any Indonesian universities. The participants are required to have good English skill proved by International TOEFL® or ITP TOEFL® scores 450 (minimal). The chosen participants must be willing to leave lecture at the university of origin for 8 weeks since they would participate in intensive course in the United States for the weeks.     3.     What are  the requirements?   19 – 24 years old undergraduate student of the third year (minimal) or of the fifth semester and above at any Indonesian universities through out Indonesia (HAVE NOT GRADUATED YET/HAVE NOT PASSED THESIS EXAM) having good English skill proved by International TOEFL® or ITP TOEFL® scores (450 is minimal). The score is not the result of prediction test. having good academic achievement actively participate in various activities and organizations having strong commitment to return to Indonesia soon after the end of the program having no experience of studying in the USA or other overseas countries having characteristics: active, independent, responsible, confident and open minded. computer literate     4.     How to apply?    Registration form is available at the office of Indonesian International Education Foundation (IIEF), Menara Imperium Lt. 28 Suite B, Jl. HR Rasuna Said Kav 1, Jakarta 12980. The form is also available for downloading at the IIEF web www.iief.or.id. The form might be copied.     5.    What documents should be enclosed in the application form?   The applicant must enclose the following documents in the application form:   1 (one) 4 x 6 sized colored photograph 1 (one) copy of Identity Card (KTP) 1 (one) official letter from the university stating that the applicant is student of the university academic transcripts from semester 1 1 (one) copy of high school diploma (requires no translation) 1 (one) copy of high school exam score list (requires no translation) 1 (one) reference letter from lecturer of the university of origin using certain form attached in the application form. The reference form requires to be enclosed to the sealed envelope along together with the application form. A reference letter from an English Subject lecturer is better. 1 (one) copy of TOEFL® score (International TOEFL® or ITP TOEFL®)     6.     What is ITP TOEFL®?    Institutional TOEFL® is an institutional and national paper-based TOEFL® usually used for applying jobs and domestic scholarship. The materials of the test consist of: Listening, Structure and Reading.   How if the score of the ITP TOEFL® test has not been announced yet in time of applying? The IPT TOEFL® test must be taken before the deadline, but the result might be submitted after the deadline. On the fourth page of application sheets, please state “I am currently still waiting for my TOEFL® score” . Besides, please inform the date, month, and year as well as test center of the ITP TOEFL®.
