1. What is IELSP?
Indonesia English Language Study Program is a scholarship program which offers opportunity to join an English course in American Universities for 8 (eight) weeks.
The program is intended for increasing English skill of the participants, especially in English for Specific Purposes. Besides, the participants would have chance to learn American culture and society directly since the participants would attend immersion program in international class where they would join other participants from various nations and countries. Thorugh the program, the participants would not only learn English, but also attend various cultural programs which would provide invaluable experience.
2. Who are eligible for the program?
IELSP is available for those who are 19 - 24 years old and registered active as undergraduate student (at least in the third year or in the fifth semester and above) from any departments at any Indonesian universities. The participants are required to have good English skill proved by International TOEFL® or ITP TOEFL® scores 450 (minimal). The chosen participants must be willing to leave lecture at the university of origin for 8 weeks since they would participate in intensive course in the United States for the weeks.

Registration form is available at the office of Indonesian International Education Foundation (IIEF), Menara Imperium Lt. 28 Suite B, Jl. HR Rasuna Said Kav 1, Jakarta 12980. The form is also available for downloading at the IIEF web www.iief.or.id. The form might be copied.

6. What is ITP TOEFL®?
Institutional TOEFL® is an institutional and national paper-based TOEFL® usually used for applying jobs and domestic scholarship. The materials of the test consist of: Listening, Structure and Reading.
How if the score of the ITP TOEFL® test has not been announced yet in time of applying?
The IPT TOEFL® test must be taken before the deadline, but the result might be submitted after the deadline. On the fourth page of application sheets, please state "I am currently still waiting for my TOEFL® score" . Besides, please inform the date, month, and year as well as test center of the ITP TOEFL®.

How does the ITP TOEFL® certificate look like?
7. Should I translate my academic transcript and letter stating of being curent student at my university into English?
The photocopy of the academic transcript must be legalized, but it requires no English translation. Letter stating of being current student at the university of origin also requires no English translation, but requires stamp and signature of the university official.
8. Should I use hand writing or type writing to fill the form?
It would be better to use type writing, but hand writing is allowed.

10. When is the deadline?
For cohort X, the form (completed with requirements) must be received by IIEF not more than November 18, 2011.
11. Shoud I have United State passport and visa before applying?
An applicant is not required to have passport and visa of the United States to apply for the scholarship. If the applicant is chosen, the applicant would be pleased to find for passport. Meanwhile, the visa will handled by IIEF before departing. Note: The scholarship participants will depart to the United States on March and August 2012 (note: the result of the selection is inviolable).
12. Is there any certain fee I should pay for the scholarship?
It is a full scholarship program and the participants are free of being charged except for passport.
