Leadership in Action: Prof. Rafał Mrówka Delivers Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility Program at UMM
Malang, Indonesia – June 2025 – Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) proudly welcomed Dr. Rafał Mrówka, Associate Professor from SGH Warsaw School of Economics, as part of the Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility program. Taking place from June 16 to 20, 2025 in Faculty of Economic and Business (FEB) UMM.
Dr. Rafal, who currently serves as Director of the MBA Programme Office at SGH and is an esteemed expert in modern organizational models and leadership development, brought a global perspective to leadership education at UMM.
Throughout the week program, students explored topics such as transformational leadership, the power of charisma, leading organizational change, and building a strong organizational culture. The course blended theoretical insights with practical, interactive learning methods — including real-life case study analysis, and simulations. His methodology encouraged students to actively participate in situational games and reflective discussions, helping them develop critical leadership skills such as motivating teams, effective communication, and managing innovation in the workplace.
The workshop attracted a diverse group of students with varied academic backgrounds, all eager to gain new insights and competencies in leadership. With a participant students of FEB UMM, the course provided an engaging and intimate learning environment.
Dr. Rafal presence at UMM also fostered stronger academic ties between SGH Warsaw School of Economics and Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. His visit forms part of UMM’s continued commitment to international collaboration, academic excellence, and providing students with global learning opportunities through the Erasmus+ program.
