Successful Visit Teaching Mobility Program: Timisoara – Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang
Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) successfully hosted the Visit Teaching Mobility program from June 10 to 14, 2024, in collaboration with Politehnica University of Timișoara, Romania. The program, organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, welcomed distinguished lecturers Flaviu Mihai FRIGURA-ILIASA and Marcus Svoboda, who delivered a series of insightful lectures and workshops. The event aimed to strengthen academic ties and foster international collaboration in the field of electrical engineering. Throughout the week, UMM students and faculty members had the unique opportunity to engage with experts in the field, learning about the latest advancements in electrical technology and its applications in the industry. Flaviu Mihai FRIGURA-ILIASA and Marcus Svoboda shared their knowledge through guest lectures on cutting-edge electrical engineering topics and conducted interactive workshops that allowed participants to explore real-world challenges in technology. The program also featured open discussions where participants could exchange ideas and explore potential future collaborations between the two universities. The success of this event highlights the ongoing commitment of UMM to enhancing the quality of education through global partnerships, enriching the academic experience, and fostering innovation in research and development. The program also served as an important step toward building a lasting collaboration between UMM and Politehnica University of Timișoara. During the event, the lecturers Flaviu Mihai FRIGURA-ILIASA and Marcus Svoboda were warmly welcomed by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Muhamad Salis Yuniardi, M.Psi, PhD, the Head of the Education and Teaching Bureau, Zulfatman, M.Eng., Ph.D., the Head of the International Relations Office, Dr. Ir. Listiari Hendraningsih, M.P., and other campus staff. They were hosted with great appreciation for their contribution in strengthening international cooperation and advancing academic development in the field of electrical engineering. This meeting reflects UMM’s commitment to continuously expanding its global network and providing the best educational experiences for its students and academic staff.
